By accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

1. Nature of the Platform

JupiterBuy acts exclusively as a technology platform and intermediary connecting three distinct parties: Buyers, Captains (community hosts), and Retailers. JupiterBuy is not a retailer, manufacturer, logistics provider, or seller of record for any goods offered on the platform.

2. Group Buy Campaigns & Payments

JupiterBuy facilitates group buying campaigns, but all transactions occur off-platform:

• No On-Platform Charging: JupiterBuy does not process or collect payments for campaigns.
• Payment Coordination: Retailers are solely responsible for coordinating and collecting payment directly from Buyers once a campaign successfully hits its target, or if the Retailer decides to proceed with the campaign regardless.
• Conditional Orders: Joining a campaign is an expression of intent to purchase. The actual transaction is finalized directly between the Buyer and the Retailer.

3. Buyer Responsibilities

When you join a campaign as a Buyer:

• Pickup: You agree to pick up your order from the designated Captain at the specified pickup location within the agreed timeframe.
• Abandoned Items: If you fail to pick up your items within the allowed window, the resolution is entirely at the discretion of, and to be coordinated between, the Retailer and the Captain. JupiterBuy is not responsible for transaction details or uncollected goods.
• Returns & Defects: Any issues with product quality, defects, or returns must be coordinated directly with the Retailer. JupiterBuy does not handle returns or warranties.

4. Captain Responsibilities and Status

Captains organize local campaigns and act as distribution points for their communities:

• Independent Status: Captains act as independent facilitators for their local communities. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of JupiterBuy or the Retailer.
• Liability: Captains assume full responsibility and liability for the safekeeping of products from the time they receive the bulk shipment until the items are picked up by the Buyers.

5. Retailer Responsibilities

Retailers who list campaigns on JupiterBuy agree to the following:

• Product Quality: Retailers are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and accurate description of all products.
• Fulfillment & Payment: Retailers are responsible for coordinating payments directly with Buyers and arranging bulk shipping directly to the Captains.
• Disputes: Retailers must resolve any product disputes, returns, or abandoned item issues directly with Buyers and Captains.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The materials on JupiterBuy's website are provided on an 'as is' basis. JupiterBuy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

In no event shall JupiterBuy or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on JupiterBuy's website, even if JupiterBuy or a JupiterBuy authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. JupiterBuy expressly disclaims all liability related to the transactions, payments, or physical fulfillment of goods between Buyers, Captains, and Retailers.

7. Modifications

JupiterBuy may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
